Hot cross bun baked oats

Enjoy in a delightful twist on a classic Easter treat with these Hot Cross Bun Baked Oats – a cozy and wholesome high protein breakfast option that brings the flavors of spiced buns to your Easter Sunday morning.

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

  2. Combine the oats, protein powder, baking powder, raisins, cinnamon & nutmeg. 

  3. Then to the same bowl of dry ingredients, add the mashed banana and soy milk. 

  4. Mix to combine well. 

  5. Add half of the oat mixture into an oven safe dish. Bake for 35 minutes. 

  6. In a small bowl, add the maple syrup with a dash of boiling water. Once the baked oats are out the oven, drizzle the maple syrup glaze on top of the oats

  7. Using a tablespoon of yogurt, draw a cross on the oats and sprinkle cinnamon on top of the oats.
