Gingerbread granola

This gingerbread granola recipe combines the comforting flavors of gingerbread with the crunchiness of homemade granola. It's a delightful and nutritious way to start your day or enjoy as a snack and is sure to put you in a festive season.


1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a tray with baking paper. 

2. To a large bowl add the dry ingredients. 

3. In a separate small bowl, combine the wet ingredients. 

4. Next pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, making sure it is equally coated. 

5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until brown and golden. 

6. Let the granola rest for 10-15 minutes before removing it from the tray and breaking it up. This will help it cluster. 

7. Then break the granola up using your hands and enjoy on its own as a snack, with smoothies, yoghurt etc.
